Worries No More

When I was young, my father  would always say this, "Do not worry about tomorrow, just seize the day, and let the future take care of itself." . I'd always hear it from him which is not bad though. However, I find it too easy to him to loosen up on a certain things.

I must say that I am the opposite of my father's character. I am the type of person who would think too much. Ok fine, I am a worrier (before) and I am guilty as charge. I would always forecast on things and future, to which sometimes it cause me uncertainty. Because I believe it's a smart thing to do, so that I can be able to plan, prepare and avoid to commit mistakes.

But  when I met Jesus, read bible and study His words, I learned God promises and His faithfulness. I understood that when I choose to worry, I am removing God in the equation of my life. That I am trusting myself more that Him which is a failure as far as my faith is concern.

That being said, I have learned that I  must live my life with the presence of God one day at a time. That I need to rely on His grace because it's sufficient. And to trust Him fully because only Him knows about my future and what tomorrow brings.

God didn't promise a worry-free life. Life itself isn't perfect. There will be a twist and turns along the way. But all I know is that God promised to be there for us. That He won't leave us every step of the way no matter what season in our life we are into.  We just need to acknowledge  Him, trust and deal  with our worries through prayer and thanksgiving.

And on that note, my father phrase make sense somehow, "Capre Diem" Seize the day, but this time with God's grace always..

Obedience to God

This verse signify about obedience to God. That we need to keep in our memory His laws, rules, commandments and put them into practice.

Because God is Holy. And we need to be Holy as well. We are His people to which we need to live according to His ways.

My Take away from the Book of Levictus

1. I fear more God.

2. Love my neighbor as I love myself.

3. Obedience is important - "Obey and you will be blessed. Disobey you will be cursed."

4. Obeying God shows that you love Him.

5. And obeying God is to have a blessings of Holy Living.

God's Plan

We may have set our own goals, plans, which sometimes things don't go the way we planned it. That life just gets it the way of all our great plans. It shaken us to the core. We feel sad, disappointed, depressed, much more, change the core of our lives.

It happens. It is not in our hands. But let us not be discouraged.  Jeremiah 29:11 will gives us comfort as it comprise of a treasure promise of God. That He is in control of everything, more so, He has great things for each of us.

There's so much relief on this verse. Because God has plan,  a GREAT PLAN, - plan for WELFARE, giving us HOPE and FUTURE.

Things To Say During A Break Up

"If you truly want to be respected by people you love,
you muct prove to them that you can survive without them."

" It is better to lock up your heart with a merciless padlock,
than to fall in love with someone who doesn't know what they mean to you."
- Michael Bassey Johnson -

To love and be loved in return is the best thing that can ever happened to anyone. It's everyone's desire. And being in a realtionship is a beautiful thing.  However, every relationship is unique just like the people in it. One day you're in a great realtionship, the next, you're alone.

Breaking up is the hardest thing to do and no one likes to be in this stressful situation. But break up happens. It can be difficult to know what to sa or how to start a conversation. Admit it, it's hard to find exact words. Here are some breaking up things that some people usually say.

1. We need to talk.

2. It's not you, it's me.

3. You are too good for me.

4. This is hard for me too.

5. Trust me, there's no one else.

6. I am sorry.

7. I didn't mean to hurt you.

8. I hate you.

9. I don;t want to see you anymore.

10. How could you do this to me?

11. What I have done?

12. Is there someone else.

13. I don't love you anymore.

14. We are not compatible.

15. You deserve someone that can make you happy.

16. This is not working anymore.

17. I hope we could still be friends.

18. I  just need a space.

19. Don't call me.

20. When can I have my things back?

21. You are making a huge mistake.

22. Leave me alone.

23. I will be fine.

24. It's over.

25. I am falling out of love.

Never take Love for Granted - Short Story

"It's a blessed thing to love and feel loved in return."
-E.A. Bucchianeri-

A very poor man lived with his wife. One day, his wife who had very long hair asked him to buy her pomade for her hair to grow well and make it well-groomed, but the man felt very sorry and said no to her request. He explained that he did not even have enough money to fix the strap of his watch he had just broken. She did not insist on her request. The man went to work and on his return, he passed by a watch shop.

He sld his damaged watch  at a low price and went to but a comb for his wife but, upon reaching home with the comb in his hand and ready to give it to his wife, he saw a big surprise. His wife had cut her hair very short and sold it to buy a new watch band for her husband.. Tears begin to flow simultaneously from their eyes, not for the futility of their actions, but for the reciprocity of their love.

Moral :
To love is nothing, to be loved is something but to love and be loved by the one you love is everything. Never take love for granted.

Seasons Of The Soul

Day 67 - #365 Days of 2015

Springs always comes with new life and birth
followed by summer to warm the soft earth -
and what a comfort to know there are reasons
that souls, like nature, must have their seasons.

Today compare the seasons of the year
with the season of your soul.
